How to RemoveFrench Fry Grease From Clothing

French fries don't always get eaten one at a time. And that means they don't all end up in your mouth. But you don't have to throw out your favorite shirt because of some french fry grease stains. Resolve® can show you how to effectively remove french fry stains.

For the best results, follow the instructions on Resolve® Stain Stick® to effectively remove french fry grease stains.

Using Resolve®

Don't let the stain sit! French Fry grease stains will set into the fabric and become more difficult to remove if you don't treat them immediately.

  • Take a clean, damp paper towel or cloth and dab the oil stain for a few minutes. Be careful not to spread the stain.

  • As soon as you can, apply Resolve® Stain Stick® to the stain, covering it completely.

  • Rub it into the stain and wait at least one minute, up to one full week.

  • Wash according to care label instructions in the warmest water recommended. Remember, heat is your friend with greasy/oily stains. If the stain doesn't come out the first time, treat again and put it through another wash before putting in dryer.
