How to RemoveRed Wine Stains From Clothing

We've all spilled red wine on our clothes. Red wine stains can spoil a dinner party or get in the way at a networking event. Red wine stains shouldn't be an issue for anyone; with Resolve® getting rid of red wine stains is easy.

For the best results, follow the instructions on Resolve® MAX™ Trigger to quickly and easily remove red wine stains.

Using Resolve®

Don't let the stain dry! Red wine will become harder to remove later if you don't treat immediately.

  • Put some salt on the stain as quickly as possible to soak up the red wine.

  • Dab this with a dry cloth. You can also try dabbing some seltzer on the stain.

  • Try and dab the stain inwards to prevent spreading it, and don't try to rub the red wine stain out with the cloth or you will smear the stain and make it larger.

  • Blot the red wine stained area again using a dampened paper towel.

  • As soon as possible,  spray the stained area with Resolve® MAX™ Trigger, covering it completely.

  • Wait up to 5 minutes before rubbing into the stain.

  • Wash according to care label instructions in the warmest water recommended. You should not dry a stained item until you have managed to remove the red wine stain to your own satisfaction.
